In resent years, 60% of all radio stations in the USA are owned by only four very large corporations. Because of this, all the radio stations sound the same.

Where I live in Phoenix Arizona, there is only one independent radio station that plays modern rock music. Unfortunately, they play a lot of the same top 40 crap that all the other stations play so there is no real source for new indie and modern rock. Stations out here are afraid to play new songs from unknown artists unless they are already popular on MTV.

The point to all of this is, I found Phantom 91.6 on the net and I love it. Any station that still plays Jeff Buckley is alright in my book. It makes me want to move to Ireland just to enjoy the music! You guys are very lucky.
