Gfx woes :*(

    I have a Geforce2 GTS w/ 64 ram. It should be giving me more or less 99 fps constant in CS neway but im only getting 40-50. Anti-aliasing and vsync are off. Drivers: 30.82.

    I dont think it would be a system bottle neck. Specs are as follows:

    AMD Ahtlon 700Mhz
    256 ram.

    Any1 know why my fps is the pits? Tnx.


    [EDIT] Forgot to mention that I o/ced the memory clock by 15 Mhz

    your chips waaay too slow, if u want constant 100fps u need to be on a 1.4+ computer (with ddr ram), even a gef4 ti or a radeon 9700 can't improve the fps in that situation.

    Half life is an old engine, it uses none of the fancy features of modern graphics cards, it's fps is almost soley determined by cpu speed and not graphics card.
