    I was just wondering if .tv domain names were still available for free and if so where do u sign up for them, many thanks.

    Nope, not sure if they ever were - check www.nic.tv for the top level, opensrs resellers also sell them.

    You could be thinking of .tk domains, which I think are still free...

    If you want a .tk domain, head to http://www.dot.tk

    new years resoluition get a web developer job again, and stop pissing arund, so registered 10 dom names and away I go
