NTL GoDigital in another room

I have Sky now, but am thinking of cancelling and enabling NTL GoDigital, for financial reasons. I have the Sky extended to upstairs with a TV Eye and RC. Can I convert this to the NTL setup? Is the Remote Control for Sky usable on GoDigital? I assume the TV Eye is just a connection with IR.

I wouldnt think the Sky remote is compatiable with NTL.
