Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, wonder if anyone can help me out with this.....

In the movie 'This is Spinal Tap' there's a bit at the end of the song 'Heavy Duty' ("Heavy Duty...Heavy Duty, Rock and Roll!") where the band play an excerpt or riff from a classical piece.

Anybody know the name and composer of it? (I've a feeling it's something by Mozart) It sounds really familiar.

    :)

    It's Boccherini's Minuet

(or if your record store clerk is a picky fecker, it's "Minuet from String Quintet in E major (G275)")

Academy of St-Martin-in-the-fields recorded a nice version for EMI in the mid-eighties if you're looking.

Derek Small's solo bass album, was supposed to be called 'It's a small's world' but never saw the light of day.

Not a day goes by where i don't think about it.
