    Looking for software that constantly monitors integrity of
    file system, data and partition tables on a hard drive in windows..

    any recommendations..?

    Constantly monitors? Is that really necessary? If its a server thats going to result in a huge dip in performance and efficiency, if its running a large db or major program.

    Either way Norton SystemWorks includes a system-monitoring tool that sits in the windows tray, and you can choose what it monitors and how often, ram/hd/cache usage etc. and it'll throw out various logs as well.

    How about using the drives built in SMART technology

    ironically
    its having SMART enabled
    that caused my "Partition improperly dismounted"
    problem :-(

    ill work from the bottom up and then ill check out both the applications ye recommended thanks
