making link cables?

    Hi,

    Anyone know any good sites for making link cables, say serial/USB to a mobile phone (perferably a Motorola V50) and/or downloads for link software, firmware, SMS handling software, soft modem drivers etc. my understanding is that the link kits cost a fortune but wouldn't mind trhowing a cable togeather and messing about with it. :)
