First of all use the UK site as you can order to IRL from there. http://www.quietpc.com/home.php. I've used it a few times.

That is the older zalman vga heatsink. Theres a newer one for later (hotter) cards. It this one, Zalman ZM-80 VGA Heatpipe Cooler. http://www.zalman.co.kr/english/product/zm80a-hp.htm.

Though with all of these heatsinks its very dependant on the cooling/airflow in you case. Zalman actually recommend you direct airflow from a fan at these heatsinks. If you have enough airflow in your case already you may not need another fan though.

The silent PC review kinda says it all so I won't repeat it here. They kinda recomend you use a fan too, which kinda defeats the purpose. Though many seem to be using it with out a fan. So I guess its up to you if you want to risk it.

Most of these articles focus on the GF4's but lots of people have put the ZM-80 on Radeon 9700's so I reckon it should fit on the 9500 too. Theres some more info on this here http://forums.silentpcreview.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=8&sid=1ad5993fdb2f6f9a7ccf0bea158b8299One OEM manufacture even sell one of their cards a 9700 with a ZM-80 prefitted. http://www.sapphiretech.com/

My own preference is to replace the standard fan with a small cpu fan (socket A/370 or socket 7) or something like the titan copper vga cooler. http://www.ocshoot.no/cuvga.htm. The advantage of this is that you can run these fans at 5v or 7v or again my own preference is to put a zalman fan mate on it and thus you can lower the speed so that the fan is inauduble.

My own experiences in this area lead me to the conclusion that a small hs with a small fan is better at cooling than a huge heatsink. The trick is to get the smaller fan running quietly. You can get a bigger fan to run quietly but they are awkward to fit properly and a bit of hassle to get it all to fit.

The titan copper vga cooler is a neat and easy fit, and when hooked up to a zalman fanmate can be made to be practically silent.

    Thats my 2 cents anyway...
