Thermometer on Nokia 5210.

    does anyone here with a Nokia 5210 have problems with the Thermometer? Mine doesn't give the correct temperature. its far too high. it would be quite useful if it worked!

    Does anyone know a way of fixing it?

    I've never seen these read accurately...
    The temperature they display is quite subjective, e.g. things which might affect the temperature:

    1) Has the phone been in a nice cosy pocket for the last while
    2) The temp. of the surface the phone is resting on
    3) Are you holding the phone? Your body temperature will affect the reading
    4) The temperature of the actual running equipment.

    It's really just a gimmick... I wouldn't rely on it for anything scientific! Your own gut-feeling about the temperature is probably more accurate...
