Well here's my list, all of which are C64 Games, in no particular order, all are brilliant in there own right, and running an emulators, they are still great crack.

Impossible Mission (original ? I think so)
Spy Vs Spy I and II (two player fun)
    Beach Head I (classic)
Raid Over Moscow (Russian madness) - getting out of that carrier at the start was an absoulte ****
    Summer Games II (great fun)
Last Ninja I and II (music was just class)
    Elite (nuff said)
Pitstop 2 (more two player fun)
    Way of the exploding Fist
    Uridium (excellent shoot em up)
    Sanxion (another cool shooty)
Leaderboard (Never seen such smooth graphics on the C64)

Can't recall any more at this time, no doubt we'll have others adding to the list.

    Nuff

Like the spectrum , I had a load of scrolling beat em ups but Last Ninja is still today one of the greatest games I have ever played. There was a game called Creatures was'nt there? You had a little creature and guided it around from a side on view. Meeting other creature and stuff. I would go back and play these old games but I have no damn joystick frown.gif

So the pope puts down the Badger and leans over to me and says , 'At TFC my son , I 0wnz j00'. Before I could speak in walks Dustin Hoffman in a giant Silk Worm costume and just then...it started to get weird...

Creatures and Creatures2 they were deadly games. There were deadly torture scene levels where you had to figure out how to save the little creature b4 he got sliced/diced/mushed/dissolved etc.

Turrican and Turrican2 the classic shoot-em-ups.

And the Bolder Dash series, that was a very clever game.
In Bolder Dash4 you could edit your own levels, wow smile.gif

    Some great games there.

How's about International Karate or IK+???

Also - GAUNTLET!!! OMG that game owned! Reminds me, I must get Gauntlet Legends on the DC smile.gif

Also, the most frustrating puzzle games, DIZZY!!! That mother fúcking egg!

Of all the games I had, I probably played The Last Ninja most. I kept coming back to it smile.gif

NICE ONE Kharn, I'd forgotten about Gauntlet that game kicked ass!!!

I had most of the Dizzy series as well, can't believe I forgot about those two titles. Getting auld. smile.gif

Anyone ever play/finish Spooks on the C64?

Good adventure game was Dan Dare(I think), you know the chappie from the Eagle comic.
His arch enemy the Meckon(sp??) smile.gif

    Errr , what the hell,
Everyone forgot Bubble bobble , THE game of the C64 , as well as rainbow islands and wonder boy ( despite its sega heritage )

Bubble bobble kept me playing for months until i knew literally everything about it, probably the best game i have ever played and well worth the 3 quid i paid for it, kept me and a mate playing for months whereas a 50 quid game these days might keep me interested for a coupla mins, course , C64 games were notoriously sh1t hard

    Lads,

I strongly do not recommend buying Gauntlet Legends for Dreamcast. It will only wreck your memories of the original.

And yes, it is that bad.

Gauntlet II on the ST was great crack. I remember Maximilian got it and got the joystick adapter which you stuck in the parallel port so 4 of us were playing. That and 3 player games of super sprint, those were the days.

Gauntlet legends , not the sam piece of cr4p that was in qwerkies and probably still is.
    God damn that was brutal
