I'm having problems with outlook 2000 in that when i'm forwarding a mail, i have it open in the new window and when i go to edit the text i get a message sayin "Outlook has generated errors and the application will has to be restarted" or something like that.

I was getting this error before chrimbo and i reinstalled the application, that worked for a few weeks and now it's back.

    The pc is a P4 1.5ghz running win 2000

    Can anybody please help.

office 2000 service pack 3 is out now my friend
suggest u dload and patch it..

    if doesnt work ..
    office uses windows installer technology..
    so if u goto
    start-control panel-add/remove programs
highlight ms office click on change

and should be reinstall option there

alternatively do a search for a known issue on
    office kb!

i reckon, service pack or reinstall will fix it up for u

I've come across something like this before. Don't use MS Word as your email editor.

Tools / Options / Mail Format tab

Uncheck "Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages".
