    i heard a rumor that ntl where starting up there cable service again .... any 1 else here anything about this ?

    ntl still offer a cable service to a very small area in south dublin.

    Given the capital expendiuture it takes to upgrade the existing cable network to a broadband capable 2-way network, it is unlikely, but not impossible, that ntl will be engaging in large scale upgrades. Do a search for the more recent ntl threads and youll get the idea.

    There has been the odd story about a possible ntl isdn/medium band service, but until i hear anything solid i consider this pure conjecture.

    No offense to you cr80r, but im going to lock this thread as we have had multiple ntl threads fill up with rumours, rants vapourware and downright spam. If anyone has a valid reason to start an ntl thread, then go for it, but im not going to encourage yet more free advertising for them :)
