Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Stats to back up the anti Houllier rants

    Some interesting stats from bbc website…
    Houllier’s record in sole charge reads P162 W83 D39 L40. That’s Premiership only, % of points taken = 59.26%
    Wenger’s is P242 W141 D60 L41, 66.53%
    Ferguson’s is P639 W353 D168 L118, 64.01%, includes old Division 1

    Houlliers stats include when he was out recuperating, when we had a very good run.
    Arsenal did the double in 1998, Wengers second year in charge. Houllier is in his 4th season in sole management, has spent way more. Results??? Wenger is remarkable in fairness, but surely Liverpool should strive for the very best. I know Ferguson took 4 years to win anything, but we certainly don’t look like winning anything worthwhile this year. Next year? Can anyone honestly say we’ll overtake Arsenal next season, not to mention United, Chelsea will be very strong, Newcastle and Leeds will improve too. So that’ll more than likely be 5 years in sole charge, over £100million sterling spent. Results??? Get rid of him to ****, and soon. Alan Hansen and Mark Lawrenson both know Liverpool better than anyone, and know soccer inside out and back the front. And they do not hold back in criticising Houllier. Poll on soccernet.com: What do Liverpool need most?…. The majority say a new manager.

    And last bit of rant….”Liverpool will win The Premiership and Champions League under me. That’s for sure.”….What ****ing planet are you on man? Valencia showed (twice) that we are light years behind Europe’s cream. The Basel captain said it showed their quality (Basel’s) that they could get a result against a quality side like Valencia (the draw in Switzerland). No mention of Liverpool. How about drawing with Liverpool home and away? Just shows how we’re regarded in Europe. And Houlliers a joke in France too.
