    Tonight as I was merrily arsing about on my pc as i do this popped up.
    How did it happen any1 know ?

    Someone is spamming your IP address range, sequentially sending crap to your running messenger service which is ment to be used between computers in a network. (If you've ever been on a university campus computers you'll know about 'net send').

    will show you how to disable the service, it is of no use if you are running a standalone computer connected only to the internet (and of questionable use in networked enviroment!)

    If you want to find out exactly who;'s attaching to you computer try

    "netstat -a"

    You'd be suprised at the results!!
