    Well i'd go for any good lookin female bass players :) but i don't know of any that play bass well,

    So i'd go for the bass player out of that band 'Primus' they do the theme tune for south park if u don't know em the stuff he comes out with...

    Yeah he rocks! Here you raise another point though: plectrum or fingers? Lots of great bassists (like Ellefson indeed) use a plectrum but I can't help thinking bass must be finger-picked or it sounds too much like a guitar....

    the best bassest has to be cliff burton.
    if you ever get a live version of master of puppets with cliff burton then you are in for a treat with cliffs live bass solo.
    it is really hard to get your hands on though,
