    As above, playing the Point on June 24. Both bands playing full sets.

    Theres only 2 ppl left from the original Lynyrd lineup, though Rossington (who done the solo on Free Bird) is one of those, I'm a pretty big fan, but wouldn't be that keen on seeing them, unless they're definitely going to play Simple Man, one of my favourite songs ever..

    :D Coverdale last played with Purple in March 1976!

    The current line-up is Ian Gillan - Vocals
    Ian Paice - Drums, Roger Glover - Bass,
    Steve Morse - Guitars, and unless Jon Lord does the UK-Irish
    shows (he said he might well) its Don Airey Keyboards.
