3G ... when ?

    According to the reg it looks like hutchison 3g is launching in the UK in March and going by http://www.hutchison3g.com/ it looks like an amazing (but expensive) service.

    So anyone care to hazard a guess as to when we will have suach a serivce ?

    AFAIK, 3G in Ireland will only offer ISDN speeds (i.e. 128kb) initially. This is down to cell size; the more bandwith you require - the smaller the cell size and therefore the more base stations that are needed.
