    Depends on what kind of games you like i'm downloading the demo of Escape from Monkey Island at the moment, its out next month.

    Call of Cthulu looks amazing - won't be out for a while tho.

    Less convinced by Anarchy Online - we shall see.

    For this Christmas... Ooh. Rune, definitely Rune. American McGee's Alice looks absolutely stunning.

    All the best games are on Dreamcast this Xmas though - Metropolis Street Racer, Shenmue, Grandia 2, Skies of Arcadia, Jet Set Radio...

    erm that's an Everquest add on. You'll need everquest to play. Afaik there are problems with it, check out lum the mad stories "spys of velious".

    Anarchy Online, I've no doubt; no just because people hype it means you shouldn't immediately say "I have doubts about that game" to sound alternative - and if that isn't the thinking then give us reasons shinji! Share your doubts me boy.

    Project IGI has me interested; but I wanna see a few reviews first before I spend.

    The Hitman demo didn't totally convince me.

    I'll save any money left over to buy Black&White in Feb.

    I'm not convinced by AO because they're being too ambitious. I've seen how all the other MMORPGS went down the toilet in terms of gameplay; "role playing" is no longer encouraged, which kinda defeats the point. AO aims to have a 4-year story arc, etc - it's all good in theory, but it doesn't allow for the sheer f*ckhead factor that afflicts all online games, but hurts mmorpgs the most.

    Besides that, the combat system looked woeful when I saw it at ECTS, and the graphics just looked plain old. smile.gif

    I'd love it to do well, but as I said - I have my reservations.

    I can say that it looks no better than EQ graphics wise.Which is why I'll likely just buy the next EQ add-on and stick with that.

    Firstly I don't think I could ever have time for more than 1 MMORPG .. even at 1 its a time hungry hobby.

    MMORPGs take a lot of time to get into .. goals are set, money's made, levels reached ... it would take something very very special to get me to ditch one in favour of another.

    At the moment, nothing out there .. not AO or NWN has shown me enough to get me to change.

    F355's been getting mixed reviews, I'd try before you buy. MSR on the other hand, seems to get the thumbs up all round.

    Space Channel 5 0wns meh!

    No one seems to have mentioned No one Lives For Ever. The Demo is fantastic and it is even better than Golden Eye(which I think is over rated anywho)

    Everyone seems to be ignoring Oni, from that Halo crowd Bungie. Could be good, Big guns + Martial arts. Gunna play the demo before i buy tho'. I will prolly get Monkey Island 4 and Red Alert 2 also. BTW I didn't think NOLF was that good, it got kind of annoying and like Austin Powers that 60's charm wore off after about 20 mins.
