How do I get rid of the bin icom on my desktop

I am running XP and was wondering how to get rid of the Recycle bin icon on my desktop,I have tried to drag and drop it to the task bar but no joy as this would be the best place Thanks

Another way to remove it:

start->run->gpedit.msc

Under Administrative Templates->Desktop and double click "Remove Recycle Bin icon from desktop"

Log off and back on again and your worries are over..

You gotta have XP Pro for this tho
