This is yet another example of the page featuring the annoying "You are an idiot!" flash animation.

It will create endless pop up windows which themselves include mini versions of the flash file and will also pop up endless dialog boxes - quite possibly hogging your processor and resources in doing so.

It's one of the best examples of why people should use popup stopper programs or a browser that allows you to disallow popups.

If you are blatantly stupid enough to click the above link, then you probably deserve what you get. I suggest that someone remove it from boards.

Javascript that doesn't allow you close the popups presumably...

I got 50 of the bastards on my screen (or so the taskbar in Windows told me) before I managed to kill them off. That, of course, also meant closing -every- single Internet Explorer window, making me lose some things I was working on.

    #MEAT#, you f**kwit!

That's because he is only banned from the humour board. If he was banned from boards.ie, then it would say "banned"

Usually, yes... but in this case it didn't seem to be quite as effective. Don't know if this JS virus could have been the cause of it. BTW, Kharn - on the side - what antivirus software do you use?

I was just p*ssed off that I had my popupstopper disabled at the time.

Didn't think for a second that I was getting free porn by the way, when I was clicking the link - thought it was going to be something more along the lines of http://www.blonde-chick-with-cute-pussy.com/

    McAffee Niall.

It's an easy enough thing to do actually, just downright nasty.

Anyway, Richard shan't be coming back to this board.

if you select task manager in relation to this you can chose to close all the popup's but you will also close your current browser as well.

Just used a tabbed browser which supports pop-up management.
