    What is CPU/RAM frequency? I think my motherboard only supports upto DDR266 RAM but Ive got DDR333, using a P4 2.53 533 MHz do I have to set some kind of jumper on the board?
    Is the problem the RAM and can I get around it?

    Oh yes, the problem, I installed win2000 on the PIII machine as I was getting missing file errors when trying to install on the P4 machine, but when I move the HD over to the p4 machine its telling me there are missing files . The HD works fine on the PIII machine.

    Also, the bios seems to keep disabling the IDE channel on the P4 machine. Can someone help? or am I making any sense:confused:
