SCSI Target Error

Just installed a CD writer in a PC, and every time I try to burn using Nero, I get a SCSI Target Error message (It's an IDE CD writer)..

Anyone have any ideas? Seems to be one of the most asked questions on the web, without any real concrete solutions..

By any chance did you put it on a RAID onboard controler? If you did try putting on the IDE controler.

No, sadly it's IDE... It will read CDs no probs..
Just can't write anything..

* For Windows NT4, Windows 2000 and Windows XP:
Download ftp://ftp6.nero.com/wnaspi32.dll. Copy wnaspi32.dll to the %windir%\System32 folder or to your application directory (no need for reboot).

* For Windows 95/98/ME:
Download ftp://ftp6.nero.com/NeroASPIen.exe and read the readme.txt file.
