new laptop WITHOUT an OS

    hey all,

    was considering buying a new laptop and saw a few things that I liked, however, I really don't want to dish out an extra e100 or e200 for stupid, cr@ppy WinXp or whatever, or even 2K for that matter (since I already have a copy). I wont even boot up windows when I get it (if I get it....), just pop in my redhat cd and wipe that scum off the machine.

    So my question is : does anyone know of a company that sells laptops WITHOUT an OS included. I know laptops are a bit more involved to produce than desktops (custom hardware, cases.....blaablaablaa) so only a reasonably sized company can afford to produce them. It seems that bigger companies are more likely to go along with this "the microsoft way or the highway" business.
