In Switzerland every household must have at least one assault rifle, and must have two freezers, one of which must be full all the time. Both are ensured by inspectors who go door to door, and failure on one or both can bring fines and even jail terms for multiple offenders.

Is it not more correct that every man in Switzerland is trained how to use a gun and is given his own gun once at a certain age. Inspectors come along every once in a while to check on the upkeep of the gun.

Didn't know that about the freezer, sounds a bit iffy!
