Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A world class display of passing, running, closing down and overall how to play football was given by the mighty reds today.

West Ham could not hack the pace and bar a chance or 2 and a penalty turned down they could not match the drive and determination of a class team.

United's variation of attack and the number of players on the field who can play football and score overpowered a team who's one dimensional "kick it up front" and Defoe might get on the end of it approach did nothing to a defence in which J O'Shea was once again outstanding.

Should have had one or 2 more but I suppose the 6 will do us.

    Gwan the mighty reds :D

Haha, 'wan Yop. Trust you to turn a disgraceful performance from West Ham into a "World Class" one from Utd.

Tbh Pie your both right and wrong.
Man U today were awe inspiring and very much world class, howeveer west ham were also a disgrace.

I know Yop and the majority of the rest of this board dont really get along but ffs stop putting down Man u when they play an amazing game of football to just the fact the opposition were ****.

Give some credit where credit is due, if Man u play **** ull jump on their backs without a second thought, but god forbid they play well then the opposition were just crap and not that man u was ne way good.

    gwan the real reds :)

You can't call a performance "World Class" against a team who may as well not have shown up. Or a team with Gary Breen in defence for that matter.

It was in some ways a flattering result, Giggs is still a bit shaky (the 1st goal was impossible to miss, the 2nd a deflection), Keane fairly quiet, the odd miscommunication at the back, and West Ham truly were a pile of sh i te - I feel sorry for Joe Cole, worked hard throughout the game and never stopped trying. Beckham did his usual weird floundering around, sticking his feet out like some sort of Sideshow Bob tribute... Van Nistelrooy however is without doubt the best purchase United made since Cantona...

    Hurrah! GO ON UNITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
