    Should work in theory. Both DSL providers use G.dmt. Sitting on top of G.dmt, Eircom uses RFC2684 ethernet bridging, and on top of that PPPoE. ESAT use PPPoA. I'd be very surprised if the modem drivers didn't support all of these standards.

    i would verify what encapsulation types the modem actually supports as this will make life easier for you in th long run as you may also have to get a pppoe client or pppoa client if you area not using xp or osx
