Banner prices???

We have an offer on www.modtheater.com to host banners we may need to help pay for hosting how much do you charge???

We have 10 million page requests a month.(edit 10 million for december)

1500 members /1200 active and over 3000 IPs per month visit us.

We've long since given up trying to generate income from banner Ads on our sites.

You'll be lucky to get more than a few cent per 1000 page impressions from a click through based advertiser, and unless you're in a very high value specialist niche expect the price per 1000 page impressions to be in the very very very low €'s. That's assuming you can even find someone willing to pay anything for them.

The only thing we use banners for now, is to exchange with other sites, at least both parties then benefit from the increased eyeballs.

In summary, if you're relying on banners to financially support your site, dont, it wont happen!

PS. You would benefit from quoting your stats in page impressions per month rather than hits/requests, as this is the industry norm. Unless you are getting 10,000,000 pipm in which case I'll shut up while you consider your stock market floatation.

We offered 2 million impressions for $50 ,but the product within the banner is specific to our website.
A 3d program that creates and exports models in MOHAA so we using that as leverage,we also talking with a game server company going to offer them the same price ,the people who come to our website will use these products we using that.


2 million for $50 is ok isnt it ????

I'm sure 2 million for $50 is a bargain. How much of a bargain depends on what the 2 million refers too? Page/Banner Impressions or Hits.

You really do need to clarify which figure you are quoting to allow for acurate pricing comparisons with your competitors (if you have any). You also wouldnt want an advertiser turning around and accusing you of trying to swindle him cos he was expecting 2million banner displays for his $50

Excellent work targetting niche markets specific to your user base, that's certainly heading in the right direction.

Try and keep stats for banner displayes/click thru rates etc. Your clients are likely to ask for it, it may also come in handy for showing future potential clents.
