    Can anyone give me a description of the advantages / disadvantages of the two AMD Athlon XP chips?

    Thoroughbred = .13aU Silacone
    Palomino = .18aU Silacone

    Smaller is better, uses less power and thus gives off less heat. Also the Tbred cores are running at higher speeds 2200+ 2400+ 2600+ 2800+ and what not. What ever you do make sure the core is a Tbred "b" core are the "a" where made to small and didn't have enough surface area. So it was harder to take heat away from the core. The Tbred aslo has some extra bits and bobs.
