    Hi Guys!

    Ye have done an amazing job with this site. I'm not really here that long yet but it's one of best community sites I have come across in the country!

    When I log in everyday I'm amazed at the level of new "recruits" to the site:

    Members: 11,725, Threads: 74,206, Posts: 699,871
    Welcome to our newest member, Rocker.

    Members: 11,757, Threads: 74,379, Posts: 701,500
    Welcome to our newest member, miKeLogic303

    and so on...

    It would be cool to have a stats page? Or a thread that would show a graph of no. of total users day by day showing the amazing history of growth of this site. Just an idea... :)

    yeah stats are cool and I'll try and pull some out of the database soon. We (as in all of us) have built a cosy little spot on the internet. Welcome to it!

    yes,
    stats for a site with as many hits as this would be interesting.
    i suggest that popular pie chart format.

    i also suggest that you make one of the hits from around the globe.

    Interesting would be a graph showing the total users against time since inception. Maybe with figures beside it on a day to day basis increase. Similarly Week per week... month/month and so on. Maybe with the max/min values near by... Just a few I can think of. :)

    Some stats would be nice :) Maybe some stats on indivduals and who spends the most time visiting the boards? :)

    If you push a kitten it could turn into a kittenroll chart which is far better than a swiss roll chart. Just a suggestion etc etc..

    Would it be possible to get stats on individual Forums?

    Say sport or GAA :D
    It would be interesting if there was a way to chart the rise and fall in popularity of certain boards.

    For example would politics be less active if George bush wasnt trying to steal oil form Iraq or would after hours be more active if the Boards.ie movie posters had a porn posters section too ?

    Politics would almost certainly be less active. During the summer there was a school of thought that said that Politics should be pushed back into Humanities. Wisdom won out etc. Don't know anything about porn so I couldn't possibly comment <whistles>.

    Any stats showing the rise and fall and rise again of various boards would be very interesting. Might be a lot of work though so won't be holding breath and all that.
