Stabbings, kidnappings, shootings, petrol bombings..... how will it end?

Its only a matter of time (sooner rather than later) before an innocent gets caught in the crossfire.

I heard on the radio this morning that one of the families allegedly has a rocket launcher?!?!! Whats to stop that family from firing a rocket into a crowded pub where they know one of the other families is drinking?

Can this feud be ended peacefully? Or will they keep going until there is one family left standing? Is sending in the Armed Task Force overkill?

Probably not overkill - this could spill out into something even worse. One of the two families is now getting a Garda escort every morning as they bring the kids to school.

You know how the feud started doncha?

Two kids fighting in the playground. Both families turned from being friendly to well, not after the parents got involved and defensive.

    I kid thee not.

I'm not going to make any specific comments about either family in a public place (or probably even in a private place) - I do have to live in the city centre after all. The boys in Henry Street now don't really believe there was ever a kidnapping.

I hear that playground fight story is a bit of a legend at this stage. It did happen, but the families were at each other even before that.

Sounds like the fight was just used as an excuse as a split was inevitable.

I suppose there was always eventually going to be something of a dispute over the territorial division of business endeavours.

one of the ryans got jumped on the way home from a club one saturday night.her father brought her down to the keanes house and called out the christy keane.
christy got his daughter and they arranged a fight.
christys daughter was a good bit olde so christy tought she would win easily but she ended up getting a whooping and having her ear biting off.christy didnt like this but he had to accept it as it was a fair fight.

then another day the girl of the ryans friend got n2 a fight in school with one of the keanes.when the girl of the ryans found out she said she was going to kill yer one of the keanes(not really kill her)she was heard by a younger keane and she spread the word to her older sisters and that is the whole 'schoolyard fight'
