Famous for his trade mark Wall of Sound production style, Spector produced four tracks for the forthcoming album from Starsailor. Spector was better known for his production on releases from The Ronettes, Ike & Tina Turner, The Crystals, The Righteous Brothers, The Beatles and the Ramones. During a recording session with The Ramones, he is reported to have pulled a gun on the band. A novel way to ensure the band weren't wasting valuable recording time!

... I heard there was a crazy gun incident with john lennon and spector too... or maybe I'm just confusing that with the ramones incident... aul spector was fond of his guns though...
