I'm not sure what definition is being applied to "airfield area".
Aer Rianta seeks court blocking of peace camp
    From:ireland.com
    Monday, 3rd February, 2003

The High Court was told today that a garda was brought to hospital earlier as a result of an "apparent violent confrontation" when five people cut through a boundary fence at Shannon Aiport and entered a hangar containing a damaged American Navy aircraft which was under Garda protection.

The court gave Aer Rianta leave to serve persons in a peace camp with notice of an application to be made by the authority on Wednesday for an order to restrain trespass of the airfield.

Mr Justice Gilligan said he would give Aer Rianta leave to give persons at the peace camp notice of Wednesday's hearing by the company for an interlocutory injunction to restrain entry to the airfield area. He said written notice should be given to those in the camp and a notice should also be erected.
