Jesus if she was from meath it would be the biggest insult ever..but this the next best thing..

I think cork should be renamed from the rebel county to the Big top county.

I'm not going to stoop to your childish level.

Alany I thought this forum was meant for GAA related topics, not so that you or anyone else could insult or slag people about where they're from?

As far as I've seen so far you've done more slagging than actual GAA talking.

Maybe Admin should have given the GAA forum a mod with a bit more sense.

You are right Alany I should have seen that one coming, but sure we all get caught every now and again. But I do think Flyz is right you should not slag off Cork as a place, you should slag it off because it has mediocre Hurling and football teams, and that fat fecker Corkery kicking balls at refs and getting sent off in important championship matches. If we want to slag off Cork as a place we can do it on the regional boards.

Waylander I didn't mean to slag you off earlier I was merely making a comment that I knew of your club.

Corkery wasn't the only one who was sent off.
Plus if you'd been at the match you would have seen the slack he was getting when the ref wasn't looking. It was a frustrating game for both teams and a bad display of fair play on both sides in all. But no single person was to blame.
Plus by the time Corkery was sent off the game was already Kerrys

Lets compare All-Ireland Titles and see who's mediocre eh Waylander? :p

Anyway the main point I'm trying to make is why can't posters who live out side Dublin post without getting ridiclous replies about not being from Dublin?

Flyz there is no insult meant, it is just a form of banter and most of the other contributors to the boards seem able to accept that, with many of them giving as good as they get. Personally that is why I like this board as oppossed to soocer where alot of people just wait for you to make a mistake and then pounce on you. It is just having a bit of craic, and increasing a freindkl competitivie rivalry. As for the All Ireland titles I think you will find in the Football Dublin have considerably more, but less then Kerry, wheras in the Hurling Cork would have considerably more.

Okie point taken, I'll accept it as is though I do think the banter should be lightened a bit but then that's my own opinion. :)

Point taken on the football too, I should really do some research :)

I tend to get carried away with my culchie bashing.
Im am a bit annoying ...I realise this, but look on the bright side
at least you dont have to listen to me rant about it too... Im worse when I get into a rant.
Anywho..Sorry about the slaging ..It takes posts of topic sometimes...Ill keep it to an acceptal level.

P.S. can i borrow your big red nose for a childrens party ?

I guess we are a bit unlucky that me and Alany are both Dubs, cause we both seem to be quite sarcastic and cynical. Al if you were to change your allegiances to, lets say Meath, then we could go at it like demons and give the others a break!

HA HA, I find this fourm light hearted and immense fun.
I thought most ppl palyed GAA becpoz they enjoyed it! so y cant we enjoy it whilsyt we are talking about it! eh?
My understanding of playing GAA activities is to enjoy yourself, there fore when we are talking about it should we not also enjoy ourselves, And indeed what better way to have fun than to engage others in healthy banter ?
and yes me and conor get a lot of "banter"*** about Tyrone being so damn good
Kingconnor and I are completely insane
and about my boyish good looks...r mayb not
Personally I like to think I’m beautiful, but in reality I have a face like a well chewed toffee
Banter***= who amd that very stupid word up?
I don’t know the origins of the word Banter***, however I do not believe it to be English. Infact I suspect its the concoction of another person.

    Many thanks.
