    What a load of crap

Making a point now about Iraqs Mustard gas attack on Kurds which, ahem, Donald Rumsfeld helped cover up initially blaming the attack on Iranians who were the "enemy" of America at the time. What an idiot. This is the so-called evidence we've been waiting for. I cannot believe it.

I watched the whole thing (I deserve medal..) and on the chemical and biological materials he was strong, on the links to Ozzy Bin-Liner it was more conjecture, but al queda does'nt need to enter the equation anyway.

Saddam has plainly been giving the UN the roundaround for years, the audio stuff was interesting and sounded plausible to me.

You could say it's totally irrelevant to the here and now, but here's a nice report in the Guardian from our own Maggie O'Kane about statements that were used to precipitate the 1990/91 conflict:

So given that, as the Simpsons would say, the one thing we can be sure of it that the Iraqis have no biological wespons on the roof, it's interesting to note Colin Powell's stataments a year after the war had ended.
