Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    on the last five installations i did when i activated the (new)cards
    the irish channels and bbc1 and bbc2 did not come on with 3 of the installs.
    the first 2 i duly phoned sky who resent signals etc. for 2 days but still nothing so i reordered new cards.
    on the third one today i finally lost patience and was put through to a supervisior who admitted that this was happening to a lot of irish installs in the past 2 weeks and that "its the weather and bear with us it'ill be resolved within the next few days when the weather clears".
    i burst out laughing and she then said" no really it may not be the weather in your area but the weather where the signal is traveling from.
    anyone else have problems with these channels.
    i did 2 installs today next door to each other. 1 was fine.

    I've had similar problems with RTE not appearing since the new cards came in. Those sky people really know how to bull****. Remind me of the NTl guy who told someone that the people down the road were sucking all his signal away.

    I've done installs with 5 of these new cards now. 4 of them didnt show the Irish channels or BBC1, but did show BBC2. The other one, when stuck into box (inactive) actually listed the entire EPG and gave Wrong Card message when trying to chose a subscription channel. Then when initialised, it worked grand. Pity the rest didnt do same. Customers arent happy to be told the card they got was useless, especially as Sky deactivate the first card immediately (which leaves them with FTA channels until new one arrives)!

    They really need to sort this issue out :(
