Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

TiVo said BSkyB would continue handling customer support for TiVo in the UK, and hardware manufacturer Thomson would continue to repair the devices. TiVo will nonetheless continue its efforts to license its technology to companies in the UK.

Argos have a Thomson DTH7000u DVD Player / HDD in the new catalogue for EUR800.00.

You can also get in at Unbeatable for STG350.00.

This is probably the nearest we are going to get to a Tivo or Sky+ in the foreseeable future.

more and more companies are developing DVD/HDD recorders so it's only a matter of time that the price will come down to something affordable here in Ireland. I'd be very interested if it hit the €350 mark.
