    According to him, the developer network will be a way for Relic " . . to interact better with the community." When asked if this would include help for mod makers for creating mods for their upcoming games Sigma and Homeworld 2, like Valve Software has done with Half-Life, Moravek said, "That's a portion of it. We would like to formalize that relationship." He added that Relic relized that there is a large mod community out there and that their first game, Homeworld, was not very mod-friendly. That didn't discourage others from tinkering with the game anyway. "There are about 50 mod groups for Homeworld and we did absolutely nothing for them," he said.



    A no-win situation is a possiblity that every commander may face.
