I used to get upset when I was a kid when it didn't snow - not so much now, but when I was younger. It's about betrayal too, like when your parents tell you something is going to happen and it doesn't materialise - even if they meant well, you're hurt by it. And you can read into that in lots of different ways, whether it's about relationships or whatever. It's an exploration of innocence, a distilling of innocence.
