    Hey

    Does anyone know of any locations that have any type of broadband access? (not places that will have .. cause I'm sure in 50-70 years over 50% of ireland will have cable or adsl) I hear there are places with satalitte available to the public, places with cable available, a few test areas for adsl ..

    Does anyone know of where these are?

    Chorus Powernet: Limerick (wireless line-of-sight)
    ADSL: Public Testing in Ennis. On test for several years in several exchanges in Dublin (staff only).
    NTL Cable: Tallaght & parts of Templeogue. Believed to still be selling service to those in areas upgraded to two-way network in these areas. I don't think this is official though.
