    ADSL is over priced in England, hance the slow uptake, but the main thing is that ITS AVAILABLE.
    They have 2Mbit wireless in scotland.
    and cable is available in plenty of areas( where NTL spent all their cash)

    2mb connecton in the london area will coast about £120 a month, i came across that awhile ago, some small isp is offering it, and bt are thinking about it,

    BT tried to do all it could to block llu and for the most part it did, something like 29 telecos have taken up llu in england, but none of the major cable operators
