It's an error in the ENN story - IOL use ENN as a news feed for their stories.

Bard politely emailed the journo at ENN and pointed out the factual inaccuracies in the story and in due course ENN changed it, but I don't think it's their job to inform the sites they feed into if a story changes - it's up to the news person on each site.

ENN feed into a couple of other sites too for news - although off the top of my head I can only name online.ie as one. They don't seem to have carried the IOffL story from ENN, but they have hosted this discussion on broadband if anyone's bored enough to have a bo-peep...

(I hope that link works... of course it's not anywhere near as good as boards.ie...)
