Name the snail !

'lo folks... this thread is on a bit of a lighter note than most... IrelandOffline's logo now incorporates our new snail mascot, as originally suggested by Dave Long... (NICE ONE DAVE) ... and I'm now looking for suggestions for a name for the snail

(Keep it clean and non-libellous... obviously !)

It now can be seen in our main logo on the irelandoffline.com web site.

Also added to the site (by the way) is the announcement about the upcoming seminar. (see http://www.scaryeire.com/www.irelandoffline.com/NewsArticle.asp?id=120801 for more).

you see the problem is, i wouldnt know how to be a smart ar$e
i thought it was a pretty good symbol of how slow ireland as a whole is to move ito the internet age,

What about ehub, goverment allways talking about this ehub we have, calling a snail an ehub could show how how slow that the dream of an internet ireland is coming

btw... I'd suggest sticking with the K.I.S.S. rule when making a suggestion (Keep it simple, stupid)...

I don't mean to just shoot down your suggestions every time, Gladiator- but "ehub" is a bit too techie and not everyone is going to understand. In the words of a hippy from The Simpsons, "Simplify, maaan!!!"

I dunno- I'm not bowled over by any suggestions yet... but then again, I can't think of a good one myself right now...
