Can we have official banners rather than the singular please, the more the merrier if they're upto standard.

    OK,
Well I ain't no artist, but it doesn't seem too bad, and it seems to tie in farily well with the look of the site as it is, se what u think. Let me know, if its ok I'll give it another stab, if its woooooefully bad I'll stop!!

    Leo's banner: eire_offline_banner.gif

    Leo,

It's far from "woefully" bad... in fact, it's very useful. The blank white area could be used for the animated text part.

    Handy that ... thanks.

Banners added to the web site... go to www.irelandoffline.com and click "link to us".

    Cheers,

By the way... out of 71 hits (according to our counter) in the last few hours on the home page, the stats break down as follows:

    0: Netscape 6.xx
    1: Opera 5.11
    5: Netscape 4.xx
    9: Internet Explorer 6 Beta
    23: Internet Explorer 5.0 or 5.01
    33: Internet Explorer 5.5

... makes it pretty obvious what the more popular browser is... smile.gif

Sorry- I meant that the banner you made could be used as a template, as such, for an animation, and animated text could be put in the blank space.

Y'know... changing from frame to frame...

"got a bad net connection" ... "want to do something about it?"... etc.

Do the banners on the 'link to us' page need
    updating?

If so I created a new banner containing the
    'snail'

See the art/anim board by clicking here!

    Best regards
    John.
