Hi, I've got a 7210 thats over a month old. Now last Sunday when i turned on the fone i got the message "insert sim card" and "contact service". Also it wouldnt charge for me but I checked the charger on another fone and it woz fine. So i posted the fone to fonefix on monday. fonefix said it needed a higher level repair which they didnt offer so they sent it on to mprc which they received on wednesday. They couldnt fix it either so today(friday) its been sent back to nokia and it can take up to 21 days. MPRC said it woz up 2 nokia whether they replace or repair it.
Now as a member of club nokia am I not mistaking that 1st of all im entitled to a loan phone while the 7210s bein repaired/replaced as it looks like i'll b foneless for a few weeks. Though I did post it so would they post one out? Also am I not mistakin that if the engineers at fonefix/mprc cant fix it I should just have a new 7210 posted out? Thanks 4 any help.

As far as I know you don't get a loan phone by default. If you had bought it from a shop and they had sent it off for you, then they may loan you a phone but that's entirely up to them.

As for MPRC just replacing it, the nokia repair centres are given certain amounts of stock and certain types of phones for swapping and that stock doesn't include phones that aren't common i.e. The 7210, as it isn't for sale (by networks) yet over here.

So, it looks like you'll just have to wait I'm afraid....

    V10 ;)
