I think a pre-emptive strike of some form might be in order to stop this happening here?

    Thoughts?

    i'd be happy with 8 gb a month :)

i like the quote they use on the site :
It is no good having a Ferrari if you can only pop down to the shops in it

A Ferrari would be an STM-1 line to your door. Though I think an F40 would quickly work out cheaper :). What the man actually has is a Fiesta as opposed to a Ka.

I think its widely known that NTL is the suckiest most cliched Irish enterprise that has ever existed. In short, you suck NTL . If i could be ars*d id go ADSL but luck for you im too damn Lazy.

They really should change that 'warez monkey' card, I dont have a phone bill or a cap. And most people on this thread dont either.

In conclusion, they should make a new for this forum and rub it in the 56k/IDSN face.

    /cue evil laugh

Thats quite some achievement considering they arent an irish company.

The thread refers to a cap being placed on thier UK operations service.

It does not even effect the few people that have it. It is a *UK* cap. There has been no mention of introducing a cap here.

What a stupid thing to say.

People never download trailers, ISO, or play games, or do any of the other things NTL advertise their cable service for.

How many trailers would you have to download to use up 1G a day? What games use even 1G a month? And just how many ISOs do you need, anyway?

We REALLY need a "Linux Iso" (note the inverted commas) gather card at this stage :)
