wap site devlopment

i am looking to devlop a wap site from cmeire.com I need some help in coding. I have not ever done any wap coding and i know wap is pretty crappy but there is a niche in the market and i intended to get it.

I have already created a wap subdomain and hope to have basic site up and running soon.

Can anyone offer any advice and some sites to visit.

There’s no niche in the market with WAP alone.

There’s business in WAP in so far as it may be applied to Wireless Telephony Applications for the operators, MMS, OTA and WAP Push (Basically any WBXML related format in conjunction with SMS), as well as Midlet/Series60 application distribution, but WAP site development alone is not in any real demand. After all, as you said yourself; if it popularly is seen as crap, you’re hardly going to see many shelling out for it, are you?

In short, WAP is a secondary (supporting) skill to the other wireless development disciplines.

Can anyone offer any advice and some sites to visit.
