I hear loads of people in local pubs giving out about being ripped off over drink prices but i think where i live is probably as cheap as anywhere in the country. How do we compare??

    Pint Guinness/Beer 3.00
    Lager 3.30
    Cider 4.20
    Vodka, whiskey etc. 2.80
    Splits 1.90
    Alcopops 4.50

How come cider is so much dearer??

In my local Cider is €3.60 while a pint of lager is €3.40. Guinness is around €3.15. Not sure about the rest.

Well, I was away in that duty free heaven known as Andorra recently.
Bottle of Bud (no draught) 2.90 euro
      Smirnoff Ice 2.90 euro
      Pint Of Guiness 4.50 euro
Pint of (yuck) SanMiguel 3.00 euro
Litre Bottle Of Archers 7.00 Euro
      Bottle of Absinth 4.00euro

      What a holiday!
      :)

I was in that, er, non-duty free, er, non-haven, called Monte Carlo, last weekend.

I was stocking up on a few bottles of wine and I noticed the large bottle of Baileys (which is 28 Euro here) was only 14 Euros. That's half the price in a place noted for it's expense.

      Sickening.
