OK alot of you probably already know that we here at GigSmart are in the process of trying to Fund a second Compilation CD, which will hopefully be available some time in May, so to put this together we need to have a descent month of Fundraising.

We have 3 Fundraising Gigs organized which will be staged in the Temple Bar Music Centre.

The first GigSmart Extravaganza labeled “the one for the money gig” is due to be held on the 19th of February 2003. please see details below:-

    Polar
    Otranome
    Violent Sky
    Sundogs
    The Murder of Crows
    Pinion
    Tokin
    The Al Capone Suite

The second GigSmart Benefit Gig will be on the 23rd of February which is a Sunday Night, and the details are as below;-

    Popstar
Mike Got Spiked ( to be confirmed ).
    Jessica Insane
    The Beautiful Losers
    Dollar Short

The third GigSmart Benefit Gig will be on the 1st of March which is a Saturday Night, and the details are as below;-

    Ginseng
    Alistair
    Oz
    Pier Nineteen

All of these gigs start at 7.30 and are € 6.00 admission fee. we would appreciate it if you could attend atleast one of these gigs as they need to be a huge success in order for us to mass produce the CD’s and promote the Compilation until you are all sick of hearing about it.

We also have a Valentines Ball in Voodoo this Friday which again will be used to Fund the Compilation, and there will be an auction where you can buy dates with certain band members, and have a nice dinner date with members of Polar.
There is alot going on in the GigSmart Camp so if you are looking to get involved then now is the ideal time, we do not facilitate one sided relationships, we are only interested in working with people who are genuinely interested in creating a better Music Scene in Dublin.
In other words if GigSmart supports you, then I think it only fair that you support GigSmart by going to GigSmart Gigs especially gigs as important as these gigs.

    Kind Regards.

    Niall Stynes.
