Mayo + sweetcorn + baguette = Tuna Heaven.

I can't stand cooked tuna. Had a tuna pizza in Spain once. Manky :(.

yeah, and maybe a little mustard too.

Also go for the baked potato with same mix, yum. (or exchange mayo with yoghurt, although this can go runny)

Tuna peas, sweetcorn and white sauce, mix it all up, heat for 15 minutes, do not let it boil, can be put on chips or rice or pasta or whatever...

Mmm, thought I was the only person who enjoyed this... have it for lunch twice a week - everyone should try it at least once IMO...

This sounds odd, but trust me...its outstanding :

    1) Add a tablespoon of oil to a saucepan, and heat to a medium temp.
    2) Add curry powder (1tsp if you like it mild, more to taste) and fry for about 15 seconds.
    3) Add tin of tuna, fry for about 30 seconds.
    4) Add similar sized tin of baby sweetcorn. Fry for about 30 seconds
    5) Add about 3/4 pint of milk.
    6) Slowly add and stir in a packet of white sauce mix.
    7) Bring to just below the boil, and allow to simmer for about 5 mins. You can add more curry powder at this stage if you feel it needs it. Or salt n pepper. If it looks too thick, add a dash of milk.
    8) Serve with crunchy baguette and butter. Yummy.

This is the cheats way of doing a tuna and sweetcorn bisque, and its a wonderful soup. The "real" way involves making a bechemel, and thats just too much effort usually.

Note : this has to be tuna in brine - not tuna in oil.
