I see that Macromedia have released Studio MX Plus, which contains:

    Freehand MX
    Macromedia Contribute
Macromedia DevNet Resource Kit Special Edition

$199 for an upgrade is a tad expensive, though. I'd only use Freehand.

Looking at Macromedias store, it looks like its $99 to just upgrade Freehand. Thats a bit better (considering its $400 new). :)

I hope they have done a lot of reprogramming on the beast. Ive used v10 solidly for the last 3 months and its horrible, buggy, slow as feck (750mb ram on this mac). The mx interface should help though.

    Give me illustrator any day.

Yeah, Studio consists of the latest MX versions of the company's web author, Dreamweaver, webgraphics editor Fireworks, authoring program Flash, illustration application FreeHand 10 illustration and a developer version of the ColdFusion MX Server software.

AFreehand MX offers a range of impressive new tools, not seen on previous versions of this application. its capabilities range from enhanced traditional functions to cutting-edge web features. FreeHand is equally at him with print, PDF, and Flash output. However, its interface is apparently less intuitive than its rivals, CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator. But Designers who need Macromedia MX integration will love FreeHand MX, and it plugs into Flash MX.

More than anyone on boards ever has. Reads like a press release.
